Reflection free project

Reflecting on my experience working on a free project, I realize that it was both challenging and rewarding. The project allowed me to explore my creativity and develop new skills, while also giving me a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. One of the biggest challenges I faced was coming up with a concept that was both original and feasible. It took a lot of brainstorming and research to come up with a viable idea, but I ultimately settled on a project that I felt passionate about and that aligned with my interests.Reflecting on my experience of writing an article about the art in Disney's Sleeping Beauty, I realize how much I learned about the creative process behind animation and the art of storytelling. It was a fascinating topic to explore, and I found myself captivated by the artistry and attention to detail that went into every aspect of the film. One of the most interesting things I learned was how the art direction and animation style of Sleeping Beauty reflected the ...

reflection chapbook

Writing a chapbook was a completely new experience for me. As an avid reader,  I never thought I could write my own collection of poems. However, I decided to take on the challenge and give it a try. At first, I found it difficult to come up with a theme for my chapbook. I had several poems written already, but they didn't seem to fit together in a cohesive way. After some brainstorming and research, I finally settled on a theme that I was passionate about - the concept of soulmate. As I continued to write and revise my poems, I found myself getting more and more immersed in the process. I spent hours pouring over my words, trying to find just the right phrases and images to convey my thoughts and feelings. It was a challenging process, but also incredibly rewarding. One of the biggest challenges I faced was deciding which poems to include in my chapbook. I had written quite a few, but not all of them fit with the theme I had chosen. It was hard to let go of some of my favorite poe...

Finalising Gallery & Buttons on website portfolio

Image
In this class, I'm going to talk about checking gallery pages because this page is very important. On this page, there are three main projects of this semester: Urban landscape photography, chapbbok, free projects and also resume video in about me page, so I double check and make sure all buttons are working properly. First of all, I added a button. Go back to the main gallery page in every project for ease of use for the user. I then went to check the link on my resume video to make sure the clip is still working and the button is navigating correctly to my video clip. And the last step is to check the links that lead to both of my flipbooks to make sure both links work and users can access our work efficiently.

Target market - Article (Free Project)

Image
The target market of articles depends on the topic and purpose of the article. For instance, an article about a specific scientific discovery would likely be targeted towards professionals and researchers in that field. Similarly, an article about fashion trends might be targeted towards consumers interested in fashion and lifestyle. The target market of an article can also be determined by factors such as the style of writing, level of complexity, and tone of the article. For example, an article written in a conversational tone with simplified language might be targeted towards a general audience, while an article written in a formal tone with technical language might be targeted towards a more specialized audience. Ultimately, the target market of an article is the audience that the writer or publisher wants to reach with their content. By understanding the interests and needs of their target market, writers can tailor their articles to better engage and inform their readers.

His images often feature blurred motion and tilted angles, which add to the sense of dynamism and energy in his work. Michael Kenna - Urban Landscape research

Image
Michael Kenna is a British photographer known for his minimalist and contemplative approach to urban landscape photography. His black and white images are characterised by their strong use of light and shadow, and their ability to convey a sense of serenity and calm.Kenna often uses long exposure times to capture the subtle movements of the city, such as the flow of water in rivers and the movement of clouds in the sky. This technique creates a dreamlike effect that emphasizes the abstract qualities of the urban landscape. For example, in his photograph "Brooklyn Bridge, Study 2, New York, USA," Kenna uses a long exposure to blur the water and create a sense of motion, while the bridge and buildings remain sharp and still. Brooklyn Bridge, Study 2, New York, USA(2006) Kenna's images often focus on the geometry and symmetry of the city's architecture, creating abstract and minimalist compositions. He has a keen eye for patterns, shapes, and textures, and often isolates...

Chapter 1 - Unbelievable

Unbelievable “Have you ever believed that soulmates exist?” One winter morning, "Jenine" woke up with a void beside her. The thought that occurred to her every morning after waking up, she was always looking at the right side of the bed that was left empty for someone. Where someone once slept next to,someone's place to lull her to sleep. Someone's place that makes her feel safe whenever he's by your side. “It's been 4 years since you've been apart, how are you there?” She kept asking this question over and over again, even though she never got an answer from it. It's time to pass, but every memory, every word, every touch of yours remains with you forever. He probably goes a short distance so that she can't find him. But she is always thinking that he is the only man that she will love forever. She believes that the rest of her life is from this. She can't love anyone like him anymore. Her feelings of her heart have died from her, and yes, t...

Creative Writing Project: Generating Ideas

Image
In the next two weeks I will focusing on my own chapbook. Chapbook collects small print publications that predate the forerunner of handmade books. If talking by definition, it is " books containing poems, songs, short stories, or religious themes". When referring to chapbooks today, they often refer to booklet that are short and cheap. Moral Emblems by Robert Louis Stevenson After I thought about the story I would write in my chapbook. Then I decided that I would write a story about a young girl who wants to live in a different country to start her new life. She dreamed it up beautifully, but in the end, the opposite happened. Revenge and the turning point of the story therefore occurs. In which I will talk about her story step by step why she wants to go abroad, when she got there, what happened to her? And finally, how will she deal with it?

The Chapbook: Planning

I will separate my story in 3 chapter- for the first two chapter will be about background story and another two chapter will be about how changing her life. How many pages do you expect there will be? About 25 pages Are you going to use images? Are these your own images (illustrations/photographs) or copyright free images that you will source? I will use image from my own photograph and copyright free photograph.    What is the plan of your time and how much you will need to spend on this? Remember writing is something that you will need time and concentration without disturbance - you must make sure that you plan time to d...

Rinko Kawauchi Research

Image
In this post, I would like to research about Rinko Kawauchi...   Rinko Kawauchi The Japanese photographer, Rinko, was born in 1972. She graduated from Seian University of Art and Design, Japan. She began her career in commercial photography before moving on to contemporary and Artistic photography later. It was driven by Ms. Takei, her personal manager. This made her start taking artistic photography seriously. and has published several photo books to sell later.  Kawauchi's images give an intense, almost hallucinogenic perspective to everyday events. Her photographs, which can be of city streets, flowers, oceans, or a dead deer by the side of the road, hardly ever feature people. In a series of photographs titled "Illuminance," Kawauchi alludes to concepts of dreams, temporality, and the divine. In one photograph, for instance, taken at the bottom of a set of stairs leading to a subway station, commuters make their way to the exit as a ray of diffuse sunlight descends th...
