Research about Mark Kermode
While creating my own film review, I looked at another film reviews. I began to by looking at Mark Kermode film reviews which is available on The guardian and consider what is his point when he write a movie reviews also style that he used. In this post, I talked about The big sick movie review from Mark Kermode
In his film reviews, he started by explained details about movie then talked about the issue and the main plot of the story. He said "this touching tale of cross-cultural entanglement finds a Pakistan-born man and an American woman wrestling with the conflicting ties of unexpected love and arranged marriage" ( Kermode,2017). So which is means in this movie what to represent the issue about different of culture can effect to love relationship. He considered the things that fire him up . Then he talked about stars what style that they plays such as he plays this role a version of himself and background of the main characters. His work informed me that when write a review I should arrange by the topic that I want to focus on and make a cohesion to the next topic for make it smooth and in order to link all the paragraph together. I chose his film review because he has a different style of review from the first one that I research. I want to explore more style of review such as the language that he used in his work, what the main point that he focused on his review and shown his opinion about movie that he review. So, I will get some strength from his work apply to my project as following; I will put an information about movie, my opinion about movie and what is special about this movie.
