Website creation : Home page


I started creating my website on WIX then I chose this template for my film review website.




 
I chose this template because it is quite simple and this template is for films and movies so, I think that will match with my project. Then I changed the top of the site to my name and changed the color from blue to orange. For my font style I use Space Grotesk and for font size is 22 px. The reason for this is at first the colour of the text is blue and I though is hard to read the bright colour so I decided to changed into black colour.


I then changed copyright to my name and the correct year after that I make sure all of the page are changed.


 Then I add elements for my welcome page and welcome message. Main color for my site is orange and black and I use white as a background. I changed background for welcome page with photo that take by me. 

Then I add elements for my photos, first I click on add element then chose gallery and chose grid galleries.


Then I changed picture all of them to my pictures and changed the title at text.

 


Then I move to Contact page, I changed address first and put my email contact . I changed font to Poppins semi bold and size is 16 px also change colour of button to orange. I changed the font because at first it is quite a bit burry, I wanted a thicker one. I will continue contact page on next post.

    Good start - you have mentioned the technical process. Also talk about why you chose this particular template. Explain why did you change particular font sizes and colours.

Software testing : Canva

Today I am testing canva website and I am going to try a magazine template.  First of all. I opened canva website and then I log in with my google account.      Then I searched in the search box for magazines. Then after I searched that it will pop up a new window with a blank paper on the right and for left side is templates to choose.   I chose this template because the promotions of images and articles fit quite well with my work. After that, I tried to put images from my website that are free copyright images from unsplash. I clicked upload on the left hand side and then upload images from my computer. To sum up, after I tried all 3 programs: Flipsnack, Yumpu and Canva. I think all 3 programs have different advantage such as canva website it doesn't need to convert images to pdf before put on the programs. So I decided to make my online magazine on the canva website.
